This was our first collaboration with the Hull Literature Festival - the Humber Mouth. Phillip, who is a local sound artist, produced an electroacoustic soundscape that challenged the line between music and speech. The three-day installation culminated in a half-hour performance with Hull based poet Ben Woodling. The piece showed the metamorphosis from the instantly recognisable human voice to abstract musical phrases and sonic events.
