The Bristol- Based artist Elaine Kordys works primarily around installation and performance, and a combination of the two; she will be spending a week installing her work in the gallery, this will involve transforming the gallery with hanging fans and office lights embedded with bulrushes.
Kordys work can perhaps be described as meditative, introspective, slow-moving. She creates environments that estrange and enchant. Her work relates to the natural environment, nature, our relation to it, and the human activity of building and constructing.
