This exhibition gives you an opportunity to experience and see the Red Gallery space in a completely new light.
Alex Peterson really works with the space. He transforms and translates it as he finds appropriate in relation to the atmosphere, its potential and his own experience of it. This curiosity, to challenge the already existing rooms of the gallery, the structure of them and how we feel within the space, makes this exhibition quite playful and becomes a new insight for the regular visitor, and a unique experience for all new comers.
Alex aims to create a new space within an existing setting and he wants its’ audience to see beyond and explore.
Alex Peterson has been working as an artist since 1999 and is currently based in Leicester. At this present time Alex’s ongoing research is concerned with architecture and spatial awareness, a subject he has focused on writing his first book.
